About the Roles

SEE Group have great career opportunities available for civil pipe laying crews across Caboolture and Sunshine Coast regions. These are diverse and fast-paced full-time roles. In joining a certified ‘Great Place to Work’ you will have the opportunity to work with motivated team players who have a high regard for safety and compliance and previous experience in the civil pipe laying field covering Sewer, Stormwater and Watermain installations.  

Pipe Layers

• Previous experience in civil pipe laying (sewer, stormwater, watermain)

• Ability to read plans, understand drainage standards, take levels, and use pipe lasers

• Confident working in shoring and wet ground conditions

• Certificate III in Pipe Laying, confined space, and loader tickets highly regarded

• Vehicle and tools supplied

Civil Labourers / Toppies

• Prior civil construction experience

• Physically fit and comfortable working in a team environment

• Able to confidently use hand and power tools

• Tickets in loader, quick cut, and confined space preferred

Pipe Crew Foreman

• Strong pipe laying background with leadership experience

• Confident managing teams and coordinating with supervisors and project managers

• Skilled in working in challenging conditions (shoring and wet ground)

• Certificate III in Pipe Laying (minimum requirement)

• Solid understanding of local water authority standards

• Vehicle and tools supplied

Lead Excavator Operators

• Experienced in deep excavations and working in shoring/wet ground conditions

• Competent using GPS and excavating around existing services
