Job Description
As part of Nine Publishing, you will join the home of Australia’s premier news mastheads, including The Sydney Morning Herald, The Age, The Australian Financial Review, Brisbane Times, and WAtoday.
Are you ready to drive operational excellence and bridge the gap between strategic vision and high-impact execution? Reporting to the Head of Operations & Strategic Projects, in Nine Publishing you will remove operational friction across the business, allowing subject-matter experts to focus on specialised, high-value delivery. In this newly created role, you will champion process maturity, manage strategic roadmaps, and ensure resources are transparently aligned with critical business goals.
Day to day you will:
Lead key initiatives by acting as the central point for timelines, tasks, and roadblock removal.
Manage risk by reporting on project outcomes, tracking risks, and escalating issues when necessary.
Oversee, manage and maintain the Publishing Growth team's strategic roadmap.
Optimise workflows by consolidating and governing growth processes within monday.com.
Engage stakeholders by maintaining strong relationships and providing regular updates on project status.
What you'll bring:
Prior experience in senior project management or operations within a growth, publishing, or digital marketing environment.
Tech proficiency with strong skills in workflow architecture, specifically within monday.com.
A strategic mindset with the ability to translate high-level business goals into operational reality.
Collaboration skills with exceptional stakeholder management and a track record of cross-functional success.
Future-focused leadership to guide teams through AI adoption and strategic shifts from tactical to high-value work.
Continuous improvement focus with a keen eye for process gaps and a proactive approach to operational excellence.
Strong attention to detail throughout your work.
