Night Shift Boilermaker

NEPEAN Longwall is a leading provider of specialised underground mining equipment to the Australian coal industry. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and reliable Boilermaker to join our team based in Paget, Mackay QLD. 

You will be responsible for the fabrication, assembly, and repair of longwall and underground mining equipment. This role is workshop-based, working night shifts with a focus on high-quality workmanship and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, and repair steel structures and components for mining equipment

• Follow technical drawings and specifications

• Perform quality checks and ensure compliance with WHS and company standards

• Work collaboratively with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulics trades

• Qualified Boilermaker with experience in heavy or mining equipment fabrication

• Strong welding and fabrication skills

• Able to work night shifts reliably and safely

• Safety-focused and detail-oriented

• Night shift roster with overtime opportunities

• Competitive hourly rate plus penalties

• Workshop-based role in Paget, Mackay
