Is this the role for you?

Inventory Management

  • Directly manage national inventory health, balancing availability, cost and risk
  • Own replenishment logic, safety stock parameters and planning exceptions
  • Actively manage excess, slow‑moving and obsolete stock (SLOB)
  • Drive inventory accuracy through disciplined cycle counting, audits and reconciliations
  • Standardise inventory control processes and reporting across all locations
  • Be personally accountable for inventory accuracy and stock availability performance

Demand & Supply Planning

  • Directly lead and coach Demand & Supply Planners
  • Translate demand forecasts into practical, executable supply plans
  • Actively manage supply constraints, exceptions and risks
  • Ensure planning decisions support service level and inventory targets
  • Maintain close alignment between planning, warehouse and logistics execution

Warehouse & Distribution Centre Operations

  • Take direct operational accountability for Ricoh’s Warehouse / Distribution Centre
  • Drive productivity, pick/pack accuracy, space utilisation and safety performance
  • Maintain a visible and active presence within the warehouse environment
  • Ensure inventory discipline, processes and controls are embedded on the floor
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives within warehousing operations

Freight & Logistics Operations

  • Lead all inbound and outbound logistics operations nationally
  • Actively manage freight providers, carriers and 3PL partners
  • Negotiate and manage logistics contracts and service levels
  • Personally review delivery performance and manage operational escalations
  • Control freight costs while protecting service delivery commitments
  • Actively manage inbound containers, lead times and holding cost exposure

Systems, Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Ensure accurate, real‑time data to support operational decision‑making
  • Establish, track and report clear operational KPIs on a regular cadence
  • Identify and implement practical, efficiency‑driven continuous improvement initiatives
