WSB Distributors currently has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Motorbike & Small Engine Mechanic to join our Clare branch.
The successful applicant will be motivated and understand the importance of being trusted to liaise with customers & work autonomously within the scope of the role under the management of the service manager and service administrator.
We are looking for someone who has a passion for motorbikes with a strong focus on Yamaha however, experience with small engines such as Briggs & Stratton, Honda, greens keeping equipment, ATV, RTV, UTV and portable generator repairs would be beneficial to the role.
Applicants who are experienced with the Yamaha brand is desirable but not essential. We will provide support and time for training whether new or ongoing.
Your duties and responsibilities include the following but not limited to;
- Servicing and repairing new and used motorcycles
- Diagnostics, dismantle and remove engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms for inspection.
- Perform scheduled and maintenance services, test and adjust mechanical parts after being repaired for proper performance.
- Ensuring workshop safety is maintained including maintaining a clean and tidy workstation.
- Test ride motorcycles adhering to company guidelines.
- Completion of job card for all duties completed including warranty work.
- Other duties as required.
- Provide information to the marketing team for special offers and promotions.
- Experience servicing/repairing all small engines Honda, Briggs and Stratton etc.
- Servicing/repairing portable generators
- Servicing/repairing ATV, UTV AND RTV
- Servicing/repairing greens keeping equipment mowers, line trimmers etc.
- Small diesel engines and hydrostatic drive experience highly regarded
- Holds current unrestricted motorcycle licence
- Good electrical diagnostic experience
- Basic welding/fabrication skills
