About the Role

We’re currently seeking experienced Yard Operator to join our Hallam Yard. The Yard Operator is a multi-skilled role that is responsible for operating plant, equipment and vehicles contributing to the day-to-day functionality and operational requirements of the yard.

Role Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Operating front-end loaders, excavators, forklifts and other equipment
• Maintain plant and equipment to a high standard
• Complete pre-starts
• Raise notification and report equipment defects
• Operating other machines you are licensed for as required
• Be committed to up skilling themselves and participate in training provided
• Proficient loading equipment and multi-tasking
• Proficient loading truck safely and efficiently

About You

The following skills and qualifications are required for this role:

• Front end loader ticket with experience
• Excavator license
• Forklift ticket with experience
• Whitecard
• Australian Driver’s License
• Right to Work in Australia
• Team player who can work well with others
• Police check and pre-employment medical including alcohol and drug screening (to be completed during the recruitment process)
