Position Purpose 

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Metal Fabricator to join Our team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and welding metal components to meet our high-quality standards. You will work closely with Our team to interpret blueprints, operate welding equipment, and ensure precision in every project.

As a Metal Fabricator, you will report directly to the factory supervisor collaborating to maintain safety standards, optimize production efficiency, and contribute to the successful completion Of various projects.

Responsibilities:
We are looking for a Metal Fabricator and the responsibilities will be:

• Expertly weld small, medium, and large aluminium architectural work.
• Perform complex mechanical installations as per engineering directions.
• Read and comprehend construction drawings and specifications.
• Lay out and assemble complex aluminium doors and sunscreen frame systems in compliance with construction drawings and specifications.
• Mark up construction drawings and specifications with as-built status.
• Maintain high-quality finishing for assembled structures.
• Examine completed welds to ensure accuracy in width, penetration, and overall precision.
• Work with Systems Engineers and Site Construction Manager to order tools, equipment, supplies, and materials necessary for job requirements, following company policy and
  process.
• Work in conjunction with other crews and lead persons.
• Maintain responsibility for all tools and equipment assigned to the group.

Skills Required:
The requirements Of the candidate are as follows

• Certificate Ill in Engineering - Fabrication Trade (Welding) (At least three years Of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualification)
• Demonstrated proficiency in various welding techniques
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Ability to inspect and test welds for strength and quality. Experience with metal fabrication, cutting, and grinding tools.
• Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to industry regulations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
