Mechanical Fitter - Dayshift (Fixed Plant)

Pearl are currently looking for an experienced Mechanical Fitter for our client who are a WA owned supplier to the construction and building industry. Based in the north-east suburbs of Perth this position is a long-term role with the view for permanency.
 
This role will see you working day shift hours only although there could be potential down the track to move into a shift-pattern roster should that be desired. 
 
The Role:
As part of the maintenance team, you will be required to:

• Perform repairs and breakdown maintenance on fixed plant equipment.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and minimise downtime.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults efficiently.
• Assist in installation, assembly, and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.

Must Haves:

• Relevant Trade qualification (NZ & UK Trade Certs accepted) 
• LV or HD trade cert also accepted 
• Ideally hold WAH and CS (or willing to obtain) 
• Current Drivers Licence with own transport
• Holiday visa's may be considered if you have long term Perth plans
• Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test

What's on Offer:

• Monday - Friday - 6AM - 2:06PM Roster 
• $57.10 p/hr + super, with penalties for hours over 38 hours per week.
