About the Role

 

We’re currently seeking safety-conscious, technically skilled Mechanical Fitters to join our Balance Machine Team. Working with a close-knit, proactive workforce that values diversity and innovation, you will work on our Dynamic 182-day roster FIFO from Perth. 

 

Your responsibilities include but are not limited too:

 

  • Conduct inspections, servicing, troubleshooting, and repairs of balance machines to maintain reliable operation.
  • Perform mechanical maintenance on ship loaders, reclaimers, and stackers, including major component change‑outs.
  • Communicate clearly with team members and Supervisors regarding equipment issues, downtime, and work progress.
  • Follow established maintenance strategies, procedures, and safety requirements to ensure safe, compliant execution of work.
  • Complete all maintenance documentation and system data entries accurately and on time.

 

 

About You

 

  • Qualified Mechanical Fitter (Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade). 
  • Strong commitment to safety, effective teamwork, and performing under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Skilled in maintaining, repairing, and aligning mechanical plant and equipment to operational standards.
  • Proven ability to identify defects, diagnose issues, and apply effective problem‑solving solutions.
  • Accurate in inspections, data recording, and use of maintenance management systems, with a strong drive to learn and improve.
