What’s on offer?

We are currently seeking a Management Accountant to join our tight-knit and collaborative Fulton Hogan Infrastructure Services (FHIS) team, based in our Brisbane office at Eight Mile Plains.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will assist the business with the preparation of monthly management reporting and accounting tasks for our Queensland based businesses. These include, but are not limited to month end reporting, review of financial performance against KPIs, assisting our managers with the preparation of operating and capital budgets and providing support on tenders, projects and new contracts on an as needs basis. You will play an active role in the implementation of our new ERP system and provide support to our operations throughout the training and roll-out phase, as well as ongoing post implementation support.

You will ensure accurate information is provided on a timely basis in accordance with the company’s policies and legislative requirements, identify and initiate process improvements, and provide support on ad-hoc projects.

We are seeking a high achiever, with tertiary qualifications in accounting coupled with experience in an accountancy role either in construction/engineering or a similar project-based environment. You will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and a desire to develop and make a positive impact. We need your ability to build strong partnerships across the business and engage with a range of stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes. You will be flexible to travel regularly to support the operational teams throughout our regional offices in Queensland.
