We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance / Mechanical Technician to join their team in Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair work on a variety of equipment and machinery, ensuring their proper functioning and minimising downtime.

Location: Western Australia.

Salary: $70,000+ AUD.

Ideal Candidate

Ability to work with a team and/or independently with less supervision.

Good communication skills.

With a good English test score is an advantage (minimum PTE score 36 or IELTS 5.0).

Work experience in petrol and diesel is a good advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance and repair work on equipment and machinery, including troubleshooting, diagnosing issues, and making necessary repairs.

• Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and address them proactively.

• Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed

• Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects.

• Comply with all safety regulations and protocols while performing maintenance work.

• Communicate with clients to understand their maintenance needs and provide solutions accordingly.

• Stay updated with industry developments and advancements to improve maintenance processes and techniques.

• Assist in training and mentoring junior technicians as needed Maintain a clean, organised kitchen, adhering to WHS and food safety standards.

Qualifications

Must have Trades Qualification.

At least 3 years recent and relevant experience on heavy machinery, farm machinery, feed mill operation, farm maintenance, or diesel mechanic.
