About the Role
We’re currently looking for an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our Wetherill Park team on a permanent, full-time basis (Monday to Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm).
This is a hands-on role where you’ll support the reliability and performance of our plant through both preventative and reactive maintenance.
Key responsibilities:
- Perform routine, preventative and breakdown maintenance across plant equipment
- Fault find and repair mechanical issues to minimise downtime
- Work across pumps, valves, motors, gearboxes, blowers and associated systems
- Support shutdown planning and execution activities
- Complete maintenance records using MEX (CMMS system)
- Contribute to a strong safety culture, following site procedures and permit systems
What You’ll Bring
- Trade qualification as a Fitter (or equivalent)
- Experience in a manufacturing, processing or industrial environment
- Strong fault-finding capability on rotating equipment
- Fabrication and pipework repair experience
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and schematics
- Experience working safely around chemicals, confined spaces and moving equipment
- Exposure to CMMS systems (MEX or similar)
Desirable:
- Basic welding (TIG/MIG/stick)
- Lathe/machining skills
- Knowledge of isolation / LOTO procedures
