Chelgrave Contracting is looking for quality electricians with strong maintenance backgrounds for various industries across Melbourne.

About the role:

• To perform scheduled inspections and condition assessment of machines and associated equipment
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance work in area
• Prompt and efficient problem-solving techniques to correct breakdowns
• Work with the line team to maximise machine efficiency and minimise downtime

About you:

• Qualified Electrician
• Minimum 3 years post trade maintenance experience within Manufacturing or similar role
• PLC fault finding experience highly desirable
• Analytical and methodical approach to fault finding and problem solving
• Ability to communicate effectively along with good reporting skills
• Excellent safety focus with a solid understanding of safe work practices and procedures
• EWP, Confined Space, and Working at Heights is a bonus
