About the Role
As a Machine Operator, you will safely and efficiently operate production equipment to meet performance and quality targets. You will play a key role in keeping our manufacturing lines running smoothly by:
- Setting up and operating machinery to specification
- Conducting quality checks to meet technical standards
- Replenishing machines with raw materials
- Troubleshooting machine issues and minimising downtime
- Completing reporting across quality, waste, productivity and engineering
- Performing routine cleaning and basic preventative maintenance
- Participating in continuous improvement
- Supporting and training other operators as needed
This role is ideal for someone who is mechanically minded, enjoys problem solving, and takes pride in producing great work.
What You’ll Bring
- Strong mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving ability
- High attention to detail and a focus on quality
- Good communication skills
- Basic to intermediate computer skills
- Experience operating or minding manual machinery in an FMCG environment (desirable)
- Experience in printing/packaging or RFMCG production (desirable)
- Forklift licence (desirable)
