Description

We are looking for a casual Loader Operator to join our Northern Concrete team, working across our concrete plants located in Breadalbane, Western Junction and Rocherlea. This is a hands-on role supporting the safe and efficient operation of our concrete plants while contributing to the delivery of quality products and service to our customers.

The ROLE

  • Operate a front-end loader to safely and efficiently load raw materials into mixers for concrete batching
  • Clean and maintain the loader in a safe, efficient and proactive manner
  • Load raw materials, such as aggregates and sand, into designated hoppers or bins
  • Follow batch plant procedures and guidelines for efficient and consistent operations
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure a cohesive and productive work environment
  • Maintain site cleanliness and environmental compliance, including hosing down the yard and clearing debris
  • Basic labouring tasks associated with Ready-Mix concrete production


Skills And Experiences

About YOU

  • Commitment to our Safety 1st culture
  • Heavy Rigid Drivers Licence 
  • Loader certification and experience (HR licence and forklift certification desirable, but not required) 
  • Knowledge of concrete products and materials handling
  • A strong safety focus and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Customer service focus and strong communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team or independently
