Your role is integral to delivering safe, productive and efficient underground mining operations.
You'll support the production team within a high-performing team focused on operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Roster: 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off FIFO ex Perth
What Will Your Day-to-Day Look Like?
Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on underground light vehicles and ancillary equipment.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and complete repairs
Conduct inspections, pre-starts, and compliance checks to ensure vehicles are safe for operation
Perform breakdown repairs to minimise downtime
Maintain accurate maintenance records and report defects or safety issues
Follow all safety, quality, and environmental procedures while working underground
Our Ideal Candidate Background Includes
Trade qualification as a light vehicle mechanic (or equivalent)
Previous experience working as a Light Vehicle Fitter in underground mining
Current and valid Manual Australian Driver’s Licence
Strong understanding of underground mining processes and safety standards
Experience operating within production-focused underground environments
Ability to work effectively within a team and follow mine plans and procedures
Commitment to maintaining a safe and productive workplace
