We are seeking an experienced Leading Hand to join our Fulton Hogan Utilities team, to support in delivering a diverse range of multidisciplinary projects across Southeast Queensland. In this role you'll be responsible for:

  • Leading and coordinating day-to-day work activities on site under the direction of the Supervisor or Project Manager

  • Implementing and initiating work activities within a team to support safe, efficient and high-quality project delivery

  • Providing on-the-job guidance and support to crew members and promoting a positive team culture

  • Ensuring work is completed in accordance with project requirements, company standards, and statutory obligations

  • Maintaining accurate records to meet employee, organisational and statutory requirements

  • Communicating effectively and professionally with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, suppliers and site teams

  • Supporting a strong safety culture by holding yourself and others accountable and living Fulton Hogan’s “Living Safely” principles.

How you'll connect to the role:

  • Demonstrated experience in water and wastewater projects is highly regarded

  • Previous experience leading crews or coordinating site-based activities

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders

  • Commitment to safety, accountability and teamwork

  • Ability to take initiative, follow through on responsibilities and support delivery outcomes on site

  • Trade qualification or Civil Construction Certificate highly regarded

  • Adopting and driving Fulton Hogan's Living Safely 2.0 culture.
