The Opportunity

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in their work, notices the little things and enjoys working outdoors. Opportunities are available on a full-time, part-time or casual basis, offering flexibility to suit your circumstances. You'll be responsible for grounds maintenance, including mowing, pruning, weed control and poisoning. You'll work as part of a supportive team while also being trusted to work independently and take ownership of your work.

Key responsibilities include:

• Ride-on mower, brush cutter and other gardening equipment operation
• Mowing, edging, mulching and general grounds maintenance
• Pruning, hedging, trimming and slashing
• Weed control, Poisoning swabbing and spraying
• Assistance in our wood yard when required
  
• Site clean-ups and waste removal
• Maintaining tools, machinery and vehicles in good working order
• Using mobile technology for job tracking, reporting and team communication
• Following all safety, environmental and quality procedures
• Representing pgg professionally while working on client sites

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

• Reliable, punctual and takes pride in their work
• Physically fit and comfortable performing hands-on outdoor work
• Safety conscious and willing to follow procedures
• Motivated, positive and able to work well as part of a team
• Detail-oriented and committed to delivering quality results
• Comfortable working across a variety of sites
• Able to communicate professionally with clients and team members
• Willing to travel within South Australia and, where required, interstate
  

Skills & Experience

Essential:

• Driver's licence
• White Card
• Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance and relevant site clearances
• Good understanding of workplace health and safety
• Self-Motivated, Reliable and able to make sound decisions on site

Highly regarded:

• Horticulture or landscaping qualification
• ChemCert or chemical application experience
• Chainsaw operation experience or training
• First Aid / CPR
• EWP licence
• Truck licence (MR/HR/MC)
• Competent operating powered gardening equipment including mowers, brush cutters and trimmers
