About the Role

We’re looking for an Inventory Controller to join our Condell Park team. This is a key role in managing inventory levels, ensuring stock availability, and optimising inventory processes to meet production demands and customer needs.

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor inventory levels across multiple locations to ensure stock availability while avoiding overstocking.
  • Supply and remove materials from production areas.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical inventory audits to reconcile discrepancies.
  • Update and maintain accurate inventory records in the system.
  • Maintain optimal stock levels by reviewing production plans.
  • Collaborate with planning and production teams to meet demand projections.
  • Implement inventory management processes to improve efficiency.
  • Prepare and generate inventory reports (daily, weekly, monthly).
  • Identify and resolve stock discrepancies and variances.
  • Communicate with departments (production, quality, planning) to understand demand changes and adjust inventory accordingly.
  • Support audits by providing necessary inventory data and documentation.
  • Suggest and implement process improvements to reduce costs, optimise space, and enhance efficiency.

  • Australian citizen or permanent resident.

 

 

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Minimum 2+ years of proven experience in inventory management, stock control, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in the SAP system is desirable but not essential.
  • Valid Forklift License with 2+ years of experience.
  • Strong attention to detail with analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong numerical and data interpretation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
