This is a hands-on role with genuine ownership across the full logistics cycle, from bookings and freight coordination through to customs clearance and documentation. If you thrive in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment, this contract offers meaningful work with a world-leading EV charging technology company.
What You’ll Do
- Manage bookings and coordinate internal and external delivery schedules to meet business needs
- Plan and execute road, sea, and air freight for international and domestic shipments
- Coordinate with service providers to improve delivery performance and ensure all shipping tasks are completed to standard
- Prepare shipping documentation including customs clearance paperwork and commercial invoices
- Liaise with internal teams and external partners to gather information and complete all required documentation accurately
- Maintain strong working relationships with suppliers, freight forwarders, and logistics stakeholders
- Develop and maintain documented procedures to support consistent logistics operations
- Manage carnet and temporary import arrangements where applicable
- Provide timely updates on stock movements and shipping schedules to customers and internal stakeholders
- Monitor cargo progress and keep management and customers informed throughout transit
- Track, validate, and resolve errors in shipment data, and continuously optimise shipping routes
- Analyse the most cost- and time-effective transport options for each shipment scenario
- Coordinate with production planning teams to align logistics with manufacturing timelines
What You’ll Bring
- Minimum 2 years of experience in international logistics or a related supply chain role
- In-depth knowledge of shipping documentation, freight terminology, and standard industry practices
- High attention to detail, strong organisational skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-moving, dynamic environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Flexibility to support outside of standard hours when critical shipments require it
- Ability to own end-to-end logistics processes from order through to delivery
