Fulton Hogan is seeking to hire an ambitious and qualified professional to join the Group Risk and Assurance (GRA) team. You will hold the role of Group Risk and Assurance Manager - Australia. You will be reporting directly to the General Manager, Group Risk & Assurance, with flexibility to be based in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane.
The role will suit an individual who potentially began their career at a consulting firm and has since been working in an internal audit and/ or risk function. The role involves dealing with stakeholders across all of Fulton Hogan, so your skills in stakeholder management, communicating and partnering with teams across the business will set you up for success. The ability to balance multiple reviews and projects concurrently will be important.

How you’ll connect to the role?
You will be CA/CPA qualified or hold relevant equivalent tertiary qualifications within field of finance, risk management or internal auditing and have experience in a similar role working in a large, complex, a fast-paced and dynamic business environment. Your demonstrated experience in the promotion and education of risk, internal control management practices at all levels of an organisation and the ability to assess risks will set you up for success. Proven knowledge of assessing compliance with standards and procedures, laws, rules and regulations is highly regarded.
Given this is a key role within the organisation, you will be a confident and effective communicator who enjoys forming working relationships with all management and staff levels across the company.
Your ability to plan and execute programs of work to agreed timeframes, conducting multiple and varied streams of work concurrently and flexibility to travel/conduct short trips to other Australian work sites will see you quickly become an integral member of this tight-knit team.
You will foster a culture within the organisation that will allow risk and assurance to become a trusted advisor that supports the organisation in achieving and delivering on its strategic priorities.
