Grosvenor Mine – an underground steelmaking coal mine produced its first longwall coal in May 2016 and is located in Moranbah, about 190 km south-west of Mackay.
We are building the team to deliver the next chapter of Grosvenor Mine. With a planned return to longwall production by Q4 2027, this is a unique opportunity to contribute to a major mine restart and help shape the future of underground mining.
Working alongside experienced professionals, you will play a role in implementing leading-edge technology, automation, monitoring systems and operational improvements that will define how the mine operates for years to come.
Grosvenor Mine
Grosvenor Mine has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Geotechnical Engineer to join the team on a permanent basis, based in Moranbah. This is your opportunity to join a team of passionate and supportive industry leading experts where you can drive your future career.
You will provide strategic advice to the Technical Services, Operations and Compliance departments on geotechnical issues. A high level of strategic thinking, planning and problem-solving skills will be instrumental in your success in this role.
