General Labourer

• Mon-Fri Dayshift
• Permanent position, Artarmon

The Opportunity 
If you enjoy variety, this role is for you. Working at our transfer station, no two days will be the same, ideally you will have a traffic control ticket and good customer service skills this role will offer opportunities to develop your skills and progress to operating some of our machinery over time. 

• Undertake various tasks across the site
• Traffic Control
• Great Customer Service Skills
• Dust control, Odour control, Litter management and onsite maintenance      
• Assist team members, contractors, and customers
• Ability to work in all weather conditions to maintain the operating conditions as require

About You 

• Previous experience within the landfill/waste industry is highly regarded
• Forklift licence would be handy!
• Traffic Controller Ticket Ideal
• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Good communication skills
• Ability to think ahead, outside the box & problem solve
• Ability to work autonomously and a part of a team
