Forklift Operator

About the Role:

We’re looking for two specialist pickers to work in a warehouse role offering permanency and stability in our established and growing business. Involving forklift operations, manual handling, picking and general duties, this is a hands-on role.

Two full-time positions with differing shift times available, located at our Brisbane Airport precinct head office.

Key responsibilities

• Unloading containers and stacking items in allocated warehouse bins
• Accurately picking and packing orders and labelling crates
• Loading outbound trucks for distribution
• Following dispatch systems and procedures
• Operating in accordance with Safe Operating Principles and Procedures
• General yard and warehouse duties, including keeping the warehouse clean and tidy

About You:

Experience

• Minimum 2 years recent experience operating both counterbalance and high reach forklifts in a similar warehouse or yard environment
• Valid forklift licence with verifiable references confirming forklift proficiency and reliability
• Proven experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems

Skills & Attributes

• Proven history of consistent attendance and reliability, with references confirming your commitment to work
• Sound capability to learn processes, follow instructions, and apply feedback
• Safety-first approach to all tasks
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment, sometimes under pressure
• Sound literacy and numeracy skills including verbal and written communication skills
• Physical fitness suitable for manual handling tasks and solo lifting of 15kg
