Forklift Operator

Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team in Braybrook, Victoria. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the building and construction industry by ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials within our facility. Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts to transport construction material and products within the warehouse and yard.
• Load and unload materials from trucks and containers safely and efficiently.
• Conduct regular inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times.
• Assist in inventory management by keeping accurate records of materials handled.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of materials to various locations.

Qualifications:

• Valid forklift licence and certification.
• Proven experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse or construction environment.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly.
• Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy loads as required.
• Understanding of formwork and precast products advantageous.
