The Opportunity:

 

Join Komatsu's Mackay Workshop and become part of a highly skilled team responsible for building new machines, completing equipment refurbishments and assembling specialised customer modules.

Working alongside approximately 30 technicians, you'll enjoy a stable Monday to Friday roster while developing your skills across a wide range of world-class construction and mining equipment.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Assemble new Komatsu equipment to OEM standards
  • Complete equipment rebuilds and refurbishment projects
  • Rebuild machine modules and components
  • Diagnose, repair and maintain mechanical systems
  • Complete quality inspections and service documentation
  • Work safely while supporting workshop productivity and team outcomes

 

Roster: Monday to Friday – 6:00am to 2:30pm
Hourly Rate: $46.08 - $52.31 per hour + super + tool allowance
Role Located:  Mackay

What we are looking for:

  • Mechanical trade qualification (Heavy Diesel, Mobile Plant, Light Vehicle or similar)
  • Experience working on mobile plant, trucks or heavy machinery
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work safely and produce high-quality workmanship
  • Team-focused approach with good communication skills
  • Current driver's licence
  • Riggers & Doggers - advantageous
