We are currently looking for physically fit Field Technicians to support multiple geophysics field crews on the Borumba Pumped Hydro Energy Storage Project, one of Queensland’s most significant infrastructure projects.
This role assists our experienced Geophysicists perform their surface-based geophysical investigation work. It involves some lifting and positioning of equipment so would suit someone who is physically fit and enjoys being outdoors.
This role is a maximum term contract, expected to be 3 months’ duration. Ongoing work may be an option.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll be working with a crew led an experienced Geophysicist, supporting surface-based geophysical investigations.

What we’re looking for
This role suits people who are fit, reliable, and comfortable with working outdoors. Ideally you will have experience in a similar role, or have a background in geophysics / geotechnical work, or a keen interest in these fields.
You must:
No training needed beforehand - you’ll be working alongside experienced leaders and geophysicists who will show you the ropes
