About the role:
Atlas Copco is seeking a Field Service Technician to support our growing customer base across Tasmania. This is a varied, autonomous role where you'll deliver preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs and technical support to customers across a range of industries.
What You'll Be Doing
Carrying out preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs on compressed air equipment
Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults
Completing on-site repairs, upgrades and equipment commissioning
Providing technical support and exceptional customer service
Maintaining accurate service records and completing service documentation
Participating in an on-call roster

Trade qualification (Mechanical Fitter, Diesel Mechanic, Industrial Mechanic or similar)
Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
A practical, hands-on approach with a commitment to quality workmanship
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently in a field-based environment, taking ownership of your schedule and service commitments with support from a Service Planner.
Current Australian Driver's Licence and Full Australian working rights
Competitive Remuneration Package hourly rates commencing from $45.00 per hour, plus overtime, on-call allowances and performance incentives, providing additional earning potential.
