Field Electrician – Workover | Even-Time Roster | Toowoomba Point of Hire
Great opportunity for Industrial Electricians to step into Oil & Gas. Ventia is seeking a qualified Electrician to join our Workover operations in a roaming position supporting multiple rigs.

Rather than being allocated to one rig, you’ll work across our Workover fleet as operational requirements change, giving you exposure to different rigs, crews and equipment while developing specialised skills. You’ll also benefit from an even-time roster that supports genuine work-life balance.

About the Role
As a Field Electrician supporting our Workover operations, you will play a key role in maintaining safe and reliable electrical operations across our rigs. Your work will include:

• Performing preventative and scheduled maintenance on electrical systems
• Assisting with breakdowns and supporting critical repairs
• Troubleshooting and fault-finding on rig electrical equipment
• Travelling between Workover rigs to provide electrical support as required
• Working closely with supervisors, rig crews and maintenance teams
• Ensuring compliance with safety and maintenance procedures
• Contributing to a high-performing team environment

About You
We’d love to hear from you if you have:

• A current Electrical Trade Qualification
• Industrial or heavy industry experience, with oil & gas experience advantageous
• Experience with PLC systems, fault-finding and maintenance
• Strong troubleshooting skills under pressure
• Ability to use computer systems for reporting and maintenance tracking
• A valid Open Manual Driver’s Licence
• A commitment to working safely in a high-risk environment
