Farm Hand

Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Farm Hand to join our team in Wee Waa, New South Wales. This permanent, full-time position plays a crucial role in supporting our agricultural operations, ensuring the efficient management of farm activities, and contributing to the overall productivity of our farm. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agriculture and a passion for working in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the daily operations of the farm, including planting, cultivating, irrigating, and harvesting crops.
• Operate and maintain farm machinery, including tractors, pickers, and forklifts, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
• Perform routine maintenance and repair of farm equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve farm goals and maintain a safe working environment.
• Adhere to workplace health and safety (WHS) requirements at all times.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Agriculture, Agronomy, Horticulture, or related field preferred.
• Experience working in a team environment on farms.
• Experience operating farm machinery including tractors, light vehicles, pickers, and forklifts.
• Strong skills in maintenance and repair of farm equipment and machinery.
• Knowledge of compliance with safety protocols and workplace health and safety (WHS) requirements.
