Factory Hand with Forklift Licence

Stafflink Workforce Management is a Queensland-based recruitment specialist providing temporary and permanent staffing solutions across a wide range of blue and white-collar industries.

We’re currently seeking an experienced Factory Hand with a valid Forklift Licence to join our client’s team in Wacol, QLD.

This role offers the potential for a permanent full-time position following a successful labour hire trial period.

About the Role
Working as part of a close-knit team, you’ll assist with the preparation and dispatch of materials, ensuring all orders are completed safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Picking, labelling, and manually handling steel products to complete customer orders
• Operating forklifts to load and unload materials, machinery, and trucks
• General warehousing and housekeeping duties
• Ensuring all loads are staged before finishing work for the day
• Maintaining a safe and clean work environment

Overtime: Required as needed to complete daily loads

What We’re Looking For

• Current Forklift Licence – essential
• Experience operating a multi-directional forklift (preferred)
• Previous experience in a similar factory, steel, or warehousing environment (highly regarded)
• Reliable and committed to full-time hours
• Physically fit – able to lift, bend, and stand for long periods
• Strong communication skills with the ability to read and comprehend work instructions in English
• A positive, team-oriented attitude and excellent attendance record
