Experienced Residential Service Electrician – Quoting -200K+ Packages

Ruttley Services is growing, and we are looking for a confident Experienced Residential Service Electrician to join our residential services team.

This role is suited to an experienced electrician who enjoys working with homeowners, can diagnose faults properly, explain things clearly, and confidently prepare quotes for repairs, upgrades and improvement works.

You will be servicing residential customers across Sydney, particularly the North Shore, Northern Beaches and Inner City, with strong office, customer service and dispatch support behind you.

This is a premium residential service role where communication, presentation, problem-solving and quoting ability are just as important as technical skill.

About the Role

As a Residential Service Electrician, you will attend booked residential jobs and help homeowners with electrical faults, repairs, maintenance, upgrades and safety improvements.

You will be responsible for diagnosing issues, explaining your findings clearly, preparing on-site quotes, gaining customer approval and completing approved work to a high standard.

Typical work includes:

• Fault finding and diagnostics
• Electrical repairs and maintenance
• ·Switchboard upgrades
• Safety inspections and compliance recommendation
• Power and lighting installations
• Smoke alarm and safety upgrades
• Appliance circuits and general residential electrical works
• Preparing and presenting on-site quotes
• Recommending practical electrical upgrades and improvements
• Educating homeowners on safe nd reliable electrical solutions

About You

We are looking for someone who is technically strong, customer-focused and confident dealing directly with homeowners.

You will suit this role if you:

• Hold a current NSW Electrical Licence
• Have proven residential service, maintenance or upgrade experience
• Can confidently fault-find and diagnose electrical issues
• Have experience quoting residential electrical work on-site
• Are comfortable discussing price, options and recommendations with customers
• Can explain things clearly and professionally
• Present well and take pride in clean, high-quality workmanship
• Are reliable, organised and self-motivated
• Can manage a booked daily schedule independently
• Are motivated by performance, customer satisfaction and earning potential

• You only want construction or project-based work
• You do not enjoy dealing directly with customers
• You are uncomfortable quoting or discussing pricing
