About this role

We are inviting Expressions of Interest for a Plant, Maintenance & Logistics Coordinator to join our Operations team at Wellcamp (Toowoomba).

The Plant, Maintenance & Logistics Coordinator supports the Corporate Plant Manager in coordinating plant, equipment maintenance, asset control, transport logistics, and operational readiness activities across the business.

This role is critical to ensuring company plant and equipment assets are maintained, compliant, operationally ready, efficiently mobilised, and strategically allocated to support pipeline construction, HDD, civil construction, and associated infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate company-owned and hired plant assets across projects, depots, workshops, and suppliers
  • Maintain fleet visibility, asset registers, service records, and compliance documentation
  • Coordinate planned, preventative, and corrective maintenance activities across plant and equipment
  • Support mobilisation and demobilisation of plant and equipment, including transport scheduling and logistics coordination
  • Track downtime, maintenance intervals, repairs, inspections, and return-to-service outcomes
  • Support HDD and pipeline equipment readiness, serviceability tracking, and spread allocation planning
  • Assist with parts procurement, inventory coordination, and supplier engagement
  • Prepare utilisation, maintenance, and cost reporting to support planning and decision-making
  • Contribute to process improvement, systems standardisation, and plant management best practice
  • Promote safety, compliance, and operational discipline across all plant activities

To be considered for this role, you will ideally possess the following:

  • Certificate or associate degree in a relevant trade qualification
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience, including at least two projects involving Plant & Logistics coordination
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a pipeline-related industry
  • Experience coordinating heavy plant maintenance programs and transport logistics for large construction equipment
  • Strong knowledge of heavy construction plant, ideally with HDD and pipeline equipment
  • Sound understanding of maintenance planning, plant compliance, asset control, and documentation systems
  • Strong planning, organisation, reporting, and stakeholder coordination capability
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to monitor plant costs and maintenance expenditure
  • Proficiency in plant management systems, asset registers, and Microsoft Office
  • A proactive, accountable, and solutions-focused approach with strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
