Expressions of interest – Intensive Care Paramedic (ICP) for NT based role – FIFO from Brisbane, Darwin or Townsville – 18 months work on a 21:21 roster.

As a result of our continued year on year growth and new project wins, Fire & Safety Australia is looking for expressions of interest for an APHRA Registered Intensive Care Paramedic (ICP) for a role based in the NT.

The Role:

We are seeking expressions of interest for an Intensive Care Paramedic to provide sole-responder medical coverage at a remote construction site located in the NT for a Tier 1 mining and oil & gas client.

This role is 18 months of work commencing in April on a 21:21 roster. Mobilisation from Brisbane, Darwin or Townsville. The site closes during the wet season, with alternative Queensland-based work available during this period.

Essential Qualifications:

• AHPRA-registered Paramedic (no conditions)

• Minimum 5 years’ mining/oil & gas experience

• Proven sole-responder remote construction experience

• Current BLS, ALS, Advanced Trauma

• D&A collection training (AS/NZS 4308:2008)

• Cert IV TAE

• Thrombolysis training with 24/7 ECG review access

Experience:

• AHPRA Registered Paramedic with 2-5 years in a construction/sole responder role

• Recent acute/critical care experience, such as on-road emergency care or remote area emergency care.

• Physically fit and mentally prepared for remote field deployment

• Strong situational awareness and ability to work independently

• Flexible to work 11-hour shifts, Day shift, on an as rostered FIFO basis

• Flexibility with Roster with an approximate even time assignment.
