The Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrician to join our maintenance team, supporting a national fleet of mobile drilling equipment across multiple mining operations.

This is a hands-on role with real variety, travel, and exposure across site operations. Working a 14/14 roster, you will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and improving electrical systems across a mobile drill fleet. Responsibilities

  • Commission, maintain, and support a fleet of Epiroc Smart 6M mobile drill rigs, including scheduled, breakdown, and statutory electrical servicing
  • Maintain Raise Drill and Underground Diamond Drill fleets, covering all electrical maintenance including preventative, breakdown, and compliance work
  • Perform electrical fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs across mobile drilling equipment
  • Drive equipment reliability and availability through proactive maintenance and continuous improvement
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with statutory and site requirements
  • Work closely with maintenance and operations teams to reduce downtime and improve performance

 

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Licensed Electrician
  • Electrical licences across WA, NSW, and QLD (or ability to obtain)
  • Current Senior First Aid/CPR and Low Voltage Rescue
  • Strong understanding of AS/NZS 3000 Wiring Rules
  • Experience with PLCs, RCS control systems, AC drives, VFDs, and CAN bus fault finding (highly regarded)
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a similar role
  • Australian citizen or permanent resident
  • Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
  • Current Police Clearance (within 6 months)
