We’re a family-run business, deeply rooted in values that span generations. As we expand, we’re looking for an Electrician to join us on this exciting journey and play a pivotal role in the future of Rombola Family Farms in Griffith, NSW.

About the role:

The Electrician will report to the Maintenance Manager and will manage all electrical components across our packhouse, farms, irrigation systems and workshop reporting to the maintenance manager. The role will conduct inspections, diagnostics, servicing, and general electrical repairs on a daily basis, across various processing equipment and machinery.

Key operational accountabilities include:

• Overall responsibility for electrical assets.
• Utilise 3rd party contractors.
• Installing, commissioning, and maintaining processing and packing equipment.
• Completing electrical checks and repairs on a daily basis.
• Diagnosing faults, managing breakdowns, and reporting back to the Maintenance Manager.
• Completing allocated tasks in a timely manner.
• Participating in quality, safety and continuous improvement activities to improve efficiencies.
• Undertaking preventative maintenance checks across the board.
• Installing new equipment when required.
• Troubleshooting, fault-finding and repairing AC Drives, Drive components and Inverters.

To be successful in the role you will possess the following:

• Australian Recognised Electrical Trade Qualification
• Proven ability and minimum of 5 years relevant experience and knowledge of maintaining processing equipment
• PLC and AC experience ideal but not essential
• A Strong commitment to safety
• High Voltage Training ideal but not essential
• Current NSW Electrical License
• Current Driver’s License
