Electrician

Located in Vermont VIC 3133, Jenergy Electrical & Solar is a Melbourne-based electrical and solar company providing solar PV systems, battery storage, EV charging and general electrical services across Melbourne and surrounding suburbs. The business is currently seeking an experienced Electrician to join their team.

The right candidate will be responsible for:

• Carrying out electrical installation work associated with residential and light commercial projects.
• Installing electrical components associated with grid-connected solar PV systems.
• Carrying out electrical work associated with hybrid and battery storage systems.
• Installing EV charging equipment for residential applications.
• Performing switchboard upgrades and associated compliance work.
• Carrying out general electrical installation and related electrical work.
• Testing electrical installations and assisting with commissioning completed systems.
• Identifying and addressing electrical faults associated with installed systems.
• Ensuring electrical work is completed safely and in accordance with applicable requirements and installation specifications.
• Working with the team to complete electrical and renewable energy installations efficiently and to a high standard.

About You

• At least 1 year of relevant experience as an Electrician.
• Relevant electrical trade qualification and appropriate electrical licence.
• Experience with electrical installation, testing and fault finding.
• Knowledge of switchboards and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and follow electrical plans, specifications and installation requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe working practices.
• Good problem-solving and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Type: Permanent / Full-time
Salary: AUD $70,000 – $90,000 per annum
