About the Opportunity

Civeo Australia are looking for an Electrician to join our Asset & Facilities Management team who work across our Remote Accommodation Villages in regional Queensland, based out of our Village in Coppabella. 

This is a hands-on role where you’ll your time in the field, with travel required across multiple villages on a lifestyle friendly week on / week off roster. 

You will be carrying out the reactive, planned and preventative maintenance in Civeo Villages in a professional, technically sound, safe and timely manner. You will also be responsible for the repairs, upgrades and installations of appliances and electrical infrastructure whilst complying with relevant legislation.

About You

• Electrical Licence – Open Electrical Licence Licenced Drainer: On-site Sewerage Facility 
• Class C, Manual Driver’s Licence 
• At least 5 years’ experience in similar work, preferably in the service industry/hospitality/high volume hotel services over multiple sites 
• Ability to pass Pre-employment medical
• A National Police Clearance or be willing to obtain
• Documentation to prove your working rights within Australia
• Demonstrated experience in similar work, preferably in or around mine sites, mining villages, or residential/demountable buildings
• Exceptional communication skills 
• Passionate about safety and providing an enjoyable working environment for all employee
