About the role

We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Technician to join our Sydney team, delivering specialist electrical and communications work across secure data centres and other mission-critical facilities throughout Greater Sydney. You’ll deliver clean, technical installation work alongside our Remote Hands, Operations and Support teams, installing and terminating BMS, ECMS and mechanical/electrical services cabling, fitting sensors and metering, and working from drawings and schematics in live critical environments where quality and safety are paramount.

In this role, you will

  • Install and terminate BMS (Building Management Systems) and ECMS (Energy & Electrical Monitoring Systems) cabling.
  • Install, mount and wire up sensors including temp and humidity, pressure and airflow, leak detection and CTs.
  • Read and work off drawings, schematics and cable schedules to get the job done right the first time.
  • Collaborate with project teams and other trades to deliver high-quality installations on time and to specification.

About you

  • Experience working in live operational environments where attention to detail and quality workmanship are critical.
  • Current NSW Electrical Licence
  • ACMA (fibre, coax and structured) highly regarded.
  • Solid hands-on experience with mech/electrical services cabling, including HVAC interfaces, switchboards, plant and metering.
  • Take real pride in neat, high-quality work and communicate clearly with clients and support teams.
  • Comfortable working to procedures and using good judgement in secure, regulated environments.
  • Proactive and solutions-focused, able to fault-find and get on with the job with minimal supervision.
