We're looking for an experienced Process Technician – Electrical & Instrumentation to join our team at the Phillip Creek Compressor and Gas Processing Facility in the Northern Territory. This is a hands-on role where you'll be part of a close-knit and supportive team responsible for operating and maintaining critical energy infrastructure. You'll gain exposure to a diverse range of process plant equipment and industry-leading technology while playing a key role in keeping our operations running safely and reliably.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain gas transmission and processing facilities
• Perform routine process plant operations and inspections
• Carry out E&I maintenance, fault-finding, repairs and equipment calibrations
• Maintain safety, shutdown, fire and gas systems
• Respond to operational incidents and emergencies
• Complete maintenance documentation and compliance activities
• Undertake occasional interstate travel as required

About You

You are a trade-qualified Electrical & Instrumentation Technician with experience in oil & gas, gas processing, LNG or a similar heavy industrial environment. You enjoy hands-on maintenance work, troubleshooting faults and working as part of a safety-focused team. You will bring:

• Certificate III or IV in Instrumentation and Control (essential)
• Current NT, QLD or equivalent Australian Electrical Licence (essential)
• Experience with E&I maintenance, fault-finding and breakdown repairs
• Experience maintaining valves, instrumentation, safety systems, and fire & gas equipment
• Exposure to gas processing, gas transmission or related process industries
• Certificate III in Process Plant Operations (desirable but not essential)

This role would suit someone looking for a varied, hands-on position that combines process operations with technical E&I maintenance.
