Take the next step in your mining career with a production role at Telfer, Western Australia. Myndshift Group is seeking experienced CAT 793 Dump Truck Operators to join an open-cut mining operation, with a pathway to permanent employment.

What’s on offer

• $63.30 per hour plus super
• 2/1 FIFO roster from Perth
• 12-hour shifts with regular additional paid overtime
• Opportunity to move into permanent employment after three months

Flights depart from Perth only. Candidates living elsewhere will need to arrange their own travel to and from Perth for each swing.

Your role on site
Working as part of the production team, you’ll primarily operate CAT 793 haul trucks, transporting material safely and efficiently across the operation.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Completing pre-start inspections and reporting equipment faults
• Following haul road rules, radio protocols and site procedures
• Operating safely around loading equipment, tip points and other mobile plant
• Maintaining awareness of changing road and operating conditions
• Assisting with CAT 785 Water Cart operations when required

What you’ll bring

• A minimum of two years’ production mining experience operating CAT 793 dump trucks
• Previous CAT 785 Water Cart experience
• Relevant machinery competencies or RIIs
• A current unrestricted C Class driver’s licence
• Australian working rights
• A strong commitment to safety, communication and teamwork

Site and onboarding requirements
You’ll need a National Police Clearance, drug and alcohol screen, and pre-employment medical that meet site requirements, or the ability to complete these during onboarding.

This is a clean-shaven site. Applicants must be able to meet the site’s respiratory protection requirements.
