Job Purpose

We are seeking a highly motivated and organised Driver/Warehouse Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for supporting our logistics operations, completing client’s collections and deliveries safely and efficiently. The candidate will also be providing an essential backup support within the warehouse when required. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Success in this role you will see:

• Secure and safe collection of assets from client;
• Responsible for efficient deliveries and pick-ups;
• Receiving incoming shipments and comparing them with the delivery docket;
• Unpacking items from boxes or crates using hand tools as necessary;
• Data entry and inventorying of assets;
• Support warehouse operations as needed, including sorting and shredding of assets;
• Manage inventory levels and ensure accuracy of stock counts;
• Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment;
• Assist with other warehouse duties as needed as seen fit by management.

General Duties:

• Contribute to overall company vision and strategy.
• Contribute to new business initiatives and projects.
• Comply with all HSEQ company process and policy.
• Work with a range of individuals from skilled technicians to disadvantaged individuals.

Who you are:

• Full and valid MR Truck Licence with strong and safe driving record is highly essential
• A current Forklift Licence is highly desirable
• Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment preferred
• NV1 clearance or the ability to complete one is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic computer skills
