Ausdrill forms part of the Perenti Group, a diversified global mining services company, and is one of the largest drilling service providers in Australia founded in Kalgoorlie in 1987. The Perenti Group operates across a wide range of mining sectors and offers unique career progression opportunities.

To support our growth, we are seeking applications for Drillers Offsiders to join the team at Ausdrill. Working alongside experienced crews, you will develop hands on skills, an understanding of site standards and procedures, and build a meaningful long-term career in mining. As the Drillers Offsider, you will assist with the daily drilling operations, handling drill rods, mixing fluids, maintaining the equipment and ensuring a safe and productive work environment. 

This is an entry level opportunity. No previous mining experience required, just a strong work ethic, a commitment to safety, and a willingness to learn!

Key Requirements 

  • Full Manual C Class (required) or HR Drivers Licence (must be able to obtain within 3 months).
  • Previous experience working as a Drillers Offsider working with either RC, Diamond, or Aircore rigs highly regarded.
  • Previous labour intensive work experience. 
  • A strong commitment to safety first practices. 
  • Australian work rights.
  • Committed to a site-specific roster working both days and nights. 
  • Reliable, proactive, and ready to get the job done. 
  • Ability to meet all site access requirements (including, but not limited to, Medical, DAS, NPC & valid Driver’s Licence). 

We provide exploration drilling, production drilling, blasting services and geotechnical services across Australia, from the mining majors to junior explorers.
