Our client is one of Australia's largest independently owned transport companies, is seeking experienced Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanics to join their Campbellfield workshop on an ongoing basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced diesel mechanic looking for consistent overtime, ongoing training, and the potential to transition into a permanent full-time position.

The Role You will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing and repairing heavy vehicles across a large fleet of trucks and trailers.
Key responsibilities include:

• Servicing and maintaining heavy vehicle diesel engines and mechanical systems
• Diagnosing mechanical faults and completing repairs to a high standard
• Carrying out preventative maintenance and inspections
• Working across a modern fleet of trucks and trailers
• Maintaining accurate service and maintenance records
• Following all workplace health and safety procedures
• Working collaboratively with the workshop and maintenance team

Essential Requirements

• Trade qualification as a Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic
• Proven experience working on trucks and trailers
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills
