What’s on offer?
We have an exciting opportunity for a committed Skid Steer Operator to join our surfacing team. In this role, you will be an integral part of the crew, supporting everyday surfacing works, and upholding our REAL values to ensure safe and successful project delivery.

We will look to you to:
- Lead operations of the Skid Steer.
- Work within tight deadlines in a timely manner to meet operational needs.
- Support daily site operations by safely operating the skid steer to assist crews with pavement repairs, general maintenance, and work conducted near live traffic.
- The ability to operate a Profiler head attachment is preferred (necessary training will be provided).
- Carry out equipment and machinery checks before use and report any faults or maintenance needs
- Take part in pre-start meetings and follow all safety, environmental, and quality processes
How you’ll connect to the role:
To be successful in this role you will have:
- 2+ years of experience driving skid steers.
- Proven experience within the road pavement industry.
- A current MR licence (minimum, HC/HR preferred) and construction induction card.
- A good safety focus/awareness, including the understanding of workplace documentation i.e. safe work method statements.
- Ability to build strong relationships, with both internal and external parties.
- Willingness to work overtime, night shifts and away from home base.
