Civil Engineering Draftsperson

We are seeking an experienced Civil Draftsperson to join our Brisbane team. Reporting to the Civil Lead, this role is well suited to a technically strong drafting professional with proven experience across Civil 3D, 12D and AutoCAD, ideally within the mining, resources or heavy industrial sectors. You will play an important role in supporting the delivery of high-quality civil engineering projects, with a focus on mining infrastructure and practical design outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:  

• Prepare detailed civil drawings, designs and documentation using Civil 3D, 12D and AutoCAD.
• Develop and update engineering drawings, site layouts, design plans and project documentation.
• Work closely with engineers, designers and project managers to ensure drafting outputs meet project requirements, standards and timelines.
• Provide technical drafting support and contribute practical design solutions throughout the project lifecycle.

Skills and Experience:

• 5–10 years’ experience as a Civil Draftsperson, preferably within mining, resources or heavy industrial environments.
• Strong working knowledge of Civil 3D, 12D and AutoCAD, with administration or back-end software experience highly regarded.
• Sound understanding of civil design and drafting workflows, documentation standards and project delivery requirements.
• Strong technical drafting capability, accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with engineers, designers and project stakeholders in a team-based environment.
