Casual Position – 5 days per week (4 hours each day)

Casual rate: $36.82 + 12% Superannuation

We are looking for a casual housekeeper at our clothing manufacturing company in Capalaba! You will maintain cleanliness and hygiene of Sylvia P Headquarters by performing general cleaning and housekeeping duties.

Main Duties:

• Daily cleaning, stocking and supplying designated facility areas at Sylvia P HQ
• Working independently while following health and safety procedures and regulations
• Cleaning specific areas of the building including offices, kitchen (dishwasher, sink, microwaves), restrooms, production floors, and common areas
• Waste management, dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents
• Restocking supplies, such as paper towels, toilet paper, bin liners, soap, etc.
• Reporting workplace hazards that require repair or maintenance and notifying management of occurring deficiencies
• Notify management when cleaning products and stocks run low or when there is a need for new cleaning equipment
• Utilise appropriate safety signages when performing tasks such as wet floor sign

What will you bring?

• Proven experience as a cleaner
• Previous experience and knowledge in handling cleaning chemicals safely and understanding of safety data sheets
• Fit to perform cleaning duties and handle some heavy cleaning equipment
