Part of the group, and newly merged with Captive Cabinetmaking, Cranbrook Workshop is in a growth phase with a strong pipeline of upcoming projects. Cranbrook Workshop specialises in custom joinery and cabinetry, balancing modern carpentry technologies with care and craft. We provide all types of joinery from simple solutions to more highly articulated interior designer led treatments.

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Installer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in cabinetry installation, strong attention to detail, and the ability to deliver exceptional workmanship.

Our workshop is located in Botany, with our project locations spread across metropolitan Sydney, including the Northern Beaches and Eastern Suburbs.

    About the role

    You will be responsible for the onsite installation of joinery for each project. Responsibilities include:

    • Installation of custom cabinets and millwork according to project specifications and design plans
    • Handle and transport joinery, cabinets and related materials with care
    • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless coordination during the installation process
    • Provide regular updates on project progress and any challenges encountered during installations
    • Maintain a safe and clean job site

    About you

    • Cabinet making or joinery qualification essential
    • Experience in a cabinet making, installation or joinery role essential
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to manage all stakeholders, including building strong relationships with the team, external parties and clients
    • Meticulous attention to detail
    • Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and specifications
    • Organised with excellent time management skills
