Brausse Glue Machine Operator

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Brausse Glue Machine Operator to join our production team on the afternoon shift at the Opal Specialty Packaging Site in Orchard Hills, NSW.

In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, running, and maintaining our Brausse folder-gluer machines to ensure efficient, high-quality production.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot Brausse folding and gluing machines.
• Run a variety of carton styles, including straightline, 4-point, and crash lock.
• Monitor product quality continuously throughout production runs to ensure customer specifications are met.
• Perform regular machine maintenance, glue system cleanups, and basic troubleshooting.
• Work efficiently to meet daily production targets while maintaining strict quality and safety standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience operating folder-gluing equipment (Brausse experience highly regarded).
• Demonstrated expertise in setting up and running straightline, 4-point, and crash lock folding cartons.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to quality output.
• Ability to work independently during afternoon hours and manage time effectively.

Hours & Schedule

• Monday – Thursday: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
• Friday: 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM
