Civmec is proud to be supporting the Eneabba Rare Earths Refinery Project in collaboration with Iluka Resources, delivering a major package of Structural, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical and Instrumentation (SMPE&I) installation works across the facility.

As Australia's first fully integrated rare earths refinery, this landmark project is helping drive the future of critical minerals processing. We are building a skilled workforce to support the delivery of this exciting long-term project in WA's Mid-West.

We are currently seeking experienced Boilermakers to join our Construction team and play a key role in the fabrication, assembly and installation of structural steel, platework and mechanical components, supporting the successful delivery of one of Australia's most significant critical minerals developments.

Location: Eneabba, WA
Roster:
2 weeks on, 1 week off (11.5 working days per swing)
Travel:
Company-provided bus transport to and from site via Perth Airport

 

Casual Rates (from 21 September)

  • Boilermaker $65.00 per hour inclusive of 25% casual flat loading + penalties, $4.00 per hour site allowance

 

Full-Time Rates (from 21 September)

  • Boilermaker $52.00 per hour + penalties
  • $4.00 per hour site allowance
  • $200 travel allowance per completed swing
  • $100 per week project completion bonus accrual
  • 1.75 hours severance accrual per completed week

The Role

  • Utilise all hand tools and forming machines to perform required functions
  • Perform welding techniques including, but not limited to, MMAW, FCAW, MIG.
  • Mark out steel components in accordance with engineering and detail fabrication drawings, specifications and standards
  • Interpret engineering and detail fabrication drawings, specifications and standards
  • Follow quality control systems and techniques
  • Maintain correct and accurate MARK numbers on steel components
  • Cut, notch, drill, ream, shape and form steel components in accordance with engineering and detail fabrication drawings, specifications and standards
  • Perform other general duties as required

About You

To be successful in the role you will possess the following:

  • Australian recognised Trade Certificate in Boilermaking/Welding
  • Current Working Safely at Heights Certificate
  • Current High risk elevating work platform license and VOC
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • Nationally recognised Construction Safety Awareness Card (White Card)
  • Previous experience on major construction projects
  • Ability to attend and pass a 3G/4G Weld Test before mobilisation
  • Ability to complete and pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
